i never thought i would like this book. paranormalcy
is an easy and fluffy and funny read. it's well written with likeable, refreshing characters and pointed dialogues.
usually it makes me wanna puke to read about pink and cute end hot and 'aww, i'm so pretty' and shopping and clothes and... well, other shit like that. but with evie? cute, clueless evie, grown up in an agency of sorts, raised by (supernatural) agents, educated by high school soaps? bwah, with evie all this shit is simply fun.
i mean, who the bleep would call a taser tasey? a PINK taser with gems, notabene ^^
the plot, admittedly, wasn't that thick, but funny, sometimes sad, sometimes thrilling and always pink ^^ and like i said, i liked it. much. the evil part, a blonde girl who's obsessed with shiny things and likes to play with fire, is pretty much the most serious main character in this book ^^ (yeah, i'm overacting, blargh ^^) for real, most of the charas are easygoing and relaxed.
i loved the ending, it's comparatively sort of deep and there's no cliffhanger. yay. assuredly, there remain open questions which will be answered in supernaturally and Endlessly, hopefully.
